The series follows the adventures of a group of girls known as the Winx, students at Alfea, a school for fairies located on Magix, a planet in the magic dimension inhabited by creatures from European mythology like fairies, witches and monsters.
They transform into fairies to fight the bad guys.
The team consists of Bloom, the flame dragon fairy, Stella, the shining sun fairy, Flora, the nature fairy, Tecna, the technology fairy, Musa, the music fairy, and Aïcha, the wave fairy.
